Download WaveClamp 2.9.26 and verify the installer
This is the official download of WaveClamp, the original build for Windows 10 and 11. The button gives the setup program of about 34 MB, not the portable .exe, and a short redirect counts the download before the file starts. Read the steps below before you run it. Pressing the button records the time, your IP address, your browser user agent and any referral source, as the privacy page explains.
- Click the download button to save the setup program, which is about 34 MB, to a folder you can find again, such as your Downloads folder. Keep the browser's download page open until the file is complete.
- Compare the SHA-256 checksum of the saved file with the published manifest, using the certutil command that is shown further down this page. A mismatch means the file changed on the way or the manifest belongs to another build.
- Run the setup program. If Windows SmartScreen warns, click More info and then Run anyway, but only after the checksum has matched the manifest. SmartScreen appears because the installer is not code-signed yet.
- Open WaveClamp, connect a model, and choose the folder with your Solidity files and tests as the working folder of the chat. Press Test first. The Test button shows the response time and the context window of the endpoint.
You do not need an account to run WaveClamp. A cloud AI provider may charge separately for its own API use, and that is between you and the provider. Your API keys stay on your PC. The app interface comes in 13 languages, and you can use a cloud model, a model on your PC or the built-in model. Use it on a local chain or a test network, with throwaway accounts and no real funds, and get an independent security review before any contract is used with real value. The first run is the moment to try the approval modes: Plan only first, then Ask first.
Why you should compare the checksum
The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows cannot confirm who published it. Compare its SHA-256 checksum with the published manifest before you run it. Windows SmartScreen may show a warning for the same reason. Click More info and then Run anyway only after the checksum matches, and leave the file unopened if it does not. The check takes one command and shows whether the file you downloaded matches the file in the manifest. Do the same after every manual download. The published manifest is the reference, so do not trust a checksum copied from a forum post or a chat message.
Updates after installation
New versions are published automatically, and the app shows an Update button when a new version is ready. Click the button to install it. The installer build is the one that enables auto-updates, which is why this page gives the setup program and not the portable .exe. The current version is 2.9.26, released on 2 Nov 2026, and the portable build of about 25 MB is a separate file. A manual download is only needed for a first install or a reinstall.
Compare the SHA-256 checksum
certutil -hashfile "C:\Users\you\Downloads\<downloaded file>.exe" SHA256Open a terminal window on your Windows PC and type the command above, replacing the path with the real location of the file you downloaded. The output is a long SHA-256 hash. Compare it character by character with the value in the published manifest, and start the setup program only if the two strings are identical. If they differ, download the file again. Copy the path from File Explorer to avoid typing mistakes, and keep the quotation marks around it because the path may contain spaces.
